Some biologists have opined that the biological evolution of man can be traced from the four-legged ape to the present upright bipedal gait of humans. Giving this notion, there can be no anticipation of further evolutionary change since man is in the present state of being the higher class of mammals.
However, gene mutation can affect the evolution of man. Also, technological interventions can mediate the evolution of man. With artificial intelligence and other technological breakthroughs, there can be a drastic change in the state of man. So, the most likely basis for future human evolutionary change is science and technology.
